Hey - mein Name ist Patrick Steglich. Ich bin Wissenschaftler, Hcohschuldozent und Buchautor. Meine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der angewandten Physik, insbesondere der Photonik, Optik und Lasertechnik. Derzeit arbeite ich als

  • Wissenschaftler am Leibniz-Institut für innovative Mikroelektronik (IHP GmbH) und als
  • Dozent für Physik, Optik und Photonik an der TH Wildau und als
  • Gastdozent für optische Technologien und Laserphysik an der Universität Rom 'Tor Vergata'.

Ich bin Autor und Koautor von mehr als 100 wissenschaftlichen Artikeln und Inhaber von acht Patenten/Patentanmeldungen. Hier geht es zu meinem Buch "Photonik einfach erklärt" und hier zu meinem Buch "Vorkurs Physik fürs MINT-Studium". Derzeit schreibe ich an einem Buch zur Elektrodynamik für Optik und Photonik.

Nach einer praktischen Ausbildung als Konstruktionsmechaniker habe ich zunächst physikalische Technik im Bachelorstudium und anschließend Photonik im Masterstudium studiert. Meine Promotion im Bereich der integrierten Photonik für die optische Kommunikation und Sensorik an der Universität Rom 'Tor Vergata' schloss ich 2017 ab.

Ich bin Mitglied in der European Optical Society (EOS), International Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) und der Deutschen Geselschaft für angewandte Optik (DGaO).

Patrick Steglich  (* 2. September 1986 in Eilenburg) wuchs in Weltewitz in der sächsischen Gemeinde Jesewitz auf. Nach seiner mittleren Schulreife absolvierte er eine Ausbildung zum Konstruktionsmechaniker bei der Mechanik Taucha GmbH. 2008 erlangte er die Hochschulreife (Technik) an der Fachoberschule Eilenburg. Im Anschluss daran studierte er Physikalische Technik (Bachelor) und Photonik (Master) an der Technischen Hochschule Wildau. 2017 promovierte er an der Universität Rom II (‘Tor Vergata‘) . Seit 2018 ist er Dozent mit Lehrauftrag an der TH Wildau und Wissenschaftler am Leibniz-Institut für innovative Mikroelektronik. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Photonik für Kommunikationstechnik und Sensorik.
