Liebe Nutzer*innen von Bolt,

das Sharing-Angebot der Firma Bolt in Erkner ist Teil des Forschungsprojekts "NaMikro" (Nachhaltige Mikromobilität). Dafür wurde das Sharing-Angebot von Bolt im September 2022 als Reallabor in Erkner gestartet und wird bis zum 31.05.2023 laufen. Das Projekt wird von der Stiftungsprofessur für Radverkehr in intermodalen Verkehrsnetzen der TH Wildau wissenschaftlich begleitet. Zielsetzung des Projekts ist es, die Nutzung von E-Scootern und E-Bikes am Stadtrand Berlins als Zubringer und Ergänzung zum ÖPNV zu untersuchen. Neben Erkner befinden sich die weiteren Reallabore in den Berliner Ortsteilen Lichtenrade und Zehlendorf.

An dieser Stelle erhalten Sie Informationen zu den Gründen für den Preisanstieg sowie für die Gewährung von Freiminuten für das Abstellen der Fahrzeuge an ausgewählten Stationen:

  • Die Erhöhung des Preises auf 0,23 € pro Minute lässt sich auf mehrere Gründe zurückführen. Eine der Methoden des Projekts ist es, den Einfluss des Preises auf die Nutzung des Angebots am Stadtrand durch unterschiedliche Tarife zu untersuchen. Dafür wurde zu Beginn des Projektes in Erkner ein vergleichsweise günstiger Preis festlegt (0,14 € pro Minute ), um einen Vergleichswert zum höheren Preis in den weiteren Reallaboren sowie zum regulären Geschäftsgebiet in der Berliner Innenstadt zu schaffen. Nun wird für die restliche Laufzeit des Projekts der Preis erhöht, um zusätzlich innerhalb Erkners einen Vergleichwert zum bisherigen Preis von 0,14 € pro Minute zu schaffen. Außerdem entspricht der von nun an geltende Preis dem regulären Preis im innerstädtischen Geschäftsgebiet von Bolt und soll damit einen marktüblichen Preis repräsentieren, um Erkenntnisse zu dessen Einfluss auf die Nutzung am Stadtrand gewinnen zu können.
  • Eine zusätzliche Neuerung besteht in der Gewährung von Freiminuten für das Beenden der Miete an einer Station in unmittelbarer Nähe zum S-Bahnhof Erkner. Hintergrund ist die Untersuchung, wie die Verknüpfung zwischen der Nutzung von E-Scootern/ E-Bikes und der S-Bahn preislich gefördert werden kann. Für das Abstellen am Bahnhofsvorplatz am S-Bahnhof Erkner sowie an der Station vor der Stadthalle Erkner erhalten Sie drei Freiminuten. Diese zwei Stationen sind  mit einer grünen Geschenkbox gekennzeichnet.

Dear users of Bolt,

the sharing service from Bolt in Erkner is part of the research project "NaMikro" (Sustainable Micromobility, german: Nachhaltige Mikromobilität). For this purpose, the sharing service was launched as laboratory in Erkner in September 2022 and will run until 31.05.2023. The project is scientifically supported by the Endowed Chair for Cycling trasnport in intermodal transport networks at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. The objective of the project is to investigate the use of e-scooters and e-bikes on the outskirts of Berlin as a feeder and supplementary transport services to public transport. In addition to Erkner, the other laboratories are located in the Berlin districts of Lichtenrade and Zehlendorf.

Here users will find information on the reasons for the price increase as well as for the granting of free minutes for parking vehicles at selected stations:

  • The increase of the price to 0.23 € per minute can be attributed to several reasons. One of the methods of the project is to investigate the influence of the price on the use of E-Scooters/ E-Bikes on the outskirts of the city by different tariffs. For this purpose, a comparatively low price was set in Erkner at the beginning of the project (0.14 € per minute ) in order to create a comparative value to the higher price in the other real laboratories as well as to the regular business area in the city centre of Berlin. Now the price will be increased for the remaining term of the project in order to additionally create a comparative value within Erkner to the previous price of 0.14 € per minute. In addition, the price that will apply from now on corresponds to the regular price in Bolt's inner-city business area and is thus intended to represent a standard market price in order to be able to gain insights into its influence on usage on the outskirts of the city.
  • An additional adjustment is the granting of free minutes for ending the rental at a station in the immediate vicinity of the Erkner S-Bahn station. The background to this is to investigate how the link between the use of e-scooters/e-bikes and the S-Bahn can be promoted in terms of pricing. Users will receive three free minutes for parking at the station forecourt at the Erkner S-Bahn station and at the station in front of the Erkner town hall. These two stations are marked with a green gift box.
