Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks for Structural Health Monitoring

Buildings are exposed to environmental influences, which reduce their lifespan and can lead to structural degradation. This research focuses on the development of wireless sensor networks that enable continuous monitoring of building conditions, addressing energy limitation issues through energy harvesting and efficient data collection. The goal is to develop self-sustaining sensor network systems that assess and predict the degree of material degradation and reduce maintenance costs.
