Hallo! Ich bin Anke Brandt, 33 Jahre alt und wohne mit meiner Familie in Wildau. Ich habe an der TH Wildau Luftfahrttechnik und Luftfahrtmanagement studiert und im Anschluss knapp 10 Jahre am Flughafen BER gearbeitet.

Hello! My name is Anke Brandt. I’m 33 years old and live with my family in Wildau. I studied aeronautical engineering and aviation management at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau and then worked at BER Airport for nearly 10 years.

In welchem Bereich werden Sie künftig an der TH Wildau arbeiten und welche Aufgaben kommen auf Sie zu?/In which area will you be working at the TH Wildau in the future and what tasks will you have to fulfil?

Ich bin im Studiengang Luftfahrttechnik/Luftfahrtmanagement angestellt und werde gemeinsam mit der Forschungsgruppe des Studiengangs im Rahmen des Projektes Managing Complexity an einer Künstlichen Intelligenz arbeiten, die später Anwendung im Luftfahrtsektor finden soll.

I am working in the Aviation Engineering and Management program and, together with the program’s research group, will be working on an artificial intelligence project as part of the “Managing Complexity” initiative, which is intended for future application in the aviation sector.

Warum haben Sie sich für die TH Wildau entschieden?/Why did you choose to work at TH Wildau?

Die Hochschule ist meine Alma Mater und ich kenne viele der Professoren. Außerdem ist mein Lebensmittelpunkt in Wildau.  Ausschlaggebend war jedoch das überaus interessante Projekt, in dem ich nun mitarbeiten darf.

The university is my Alma Mater, and I know many of the professors. Besides, Wildau is where I live. The deciding factor, however, was the extremely interesting project I now have the opportunity to work on.
