Stellen Sie sich bitte kurz einmal vor/Please introduce yourself briefly*: 

Ich bin geboren und aufgewachsen in Potsdam-Babelsberg, wohne aber seit fast 30 Jahren inzwischen in der Blütenstadt Werder. Ich war 4 Jahre als Objektleiterin/Bereichsleiterin in zwei Berliner Reinigungsunternehmen tätig. Hier habe ich 50 Mitarbeiter und ca. 60 Objekte betreut, darunter u.a. die Humboldt Universität mit 40 Häusern. Davor war ich 12 Jahre in der JVA Plötzensee und habe die Gefangenen in der Gebäudereinigung ausgebildet und die Anstalt reinigungstechnisch betreut.

I was born and raised in Potsdam-Babelsberg, but have been living in Werder, known as the “City of Flowers,” for nearly 30 years now. I worked for four years as a property manager and division manager at two cleaning companies in Berlin. In that role, I oversaw 50 employees and approximately 60 properties, including Humboldt University with its 40 buildings. Prior to that, I spent 12 years at the Plötzensee Correctional Facility, where I trained inmates in building cleaning and oversaw the facility’s cleaning operations.

In welchem Bereich werden Sie künftig an der TH Wildau arbeiten und welche Aufgaben kommen auf Sie zu?/In which area will you be working at the TH Wildau in the future and what tasks will you have to fulfil?

Ich werde den eigenen Reinigungsbetrieb für die Häuser 13 und 14 mit aufbauen. Wir sind momentan dabei, die entsprechenden Mitarbeiter zu finden und eine Erstausstattung zusammenzustellen.

I will help set up the in-house cleaning service for Buildings 13 and 14. We are currently in the process of finding the right staff and putting together the initial supplies.

Warum haben Sie sich für die TH Wildau entschieden?/Why did you choose to work at TH Wildau?

Ich finde die Möglichkeit, den Betrieb hier von Anfang an mit aufzubauen und mitzugestalten sehr interessant, und somit neue Technologien anzuwenden.

I find the opportunity to help build and shape this business from the ground up very interesting, and to apply new technologies in the process.
