Mein name ist Nagendra Achyuta Mandiga und ich komme aus Indien. Ich habe meinen Masterstudium an der RWTH Aachen im Bereich Computer Aided Mechanical Engineering absolviert.

My name is Nagendra Achyuta Mandiga and I’m from India. I completed my Master’s degree at RWTH Aachen in the field of Computer-Aided Mechanical Engineering.

In welchem Bereich werden Sie künftig an der TH Wildau arbeiten und welche Aufgaben kommen auf Sie zu?/In which area will you be working at the TH Wildau in the future and what tasks will you have to fulfil?

Während meines Masterstudiums habe ich bereits Arbeitserfahrung beim Fraunhofer ISE, Fraunhofer EMI, am Lehrstuhl Production Engineering vof E-Mobiliy Components (PEM) der RWTH Aachen und bei dem Unternehmen weisstechnik gesammelt. Derzeit arbeite ich im 3D OptiLock Projekt im Bereich hybride Fertigung. Zu meinen Aufgaben gehören Konstruktion, Simulation und Topologie-Optimierung für sicherheitkritische Bauteile und Systeme.

During my Master’s studies, I gained work experience at Fraunhofer ISE, Fraunhofer EMI, the Chair of Production Engineering for E-Mobility Components (PEM) at RWTH Aachen University, and at weisstechnik. I am currently working on the 3D OptiLock project in the field of hybrid manufacturing. My responsibilities include design, simulation and topology optimisation for safety-critical components and systems.

Warum haben Sie sich für die TH Wildau entschieden?/Why did you choose to work at TH Wildau?

Ich finde die TH Wildau sehr schön und das Arbeitsklima ist sehr spannend. 

I think TH Wildau is a lovely place and the working atmosphere is very stimulating.

Am Morgen: Kaffee oder Tee?/In the morning: Coffee or tea?
Morgens und nachmittags trinke ich immer Kaffee./I always have a coffee in the mornings and afternoons.

Am Mittag: Mensa oder etwas Mitgebrachtes?/Lunch: Mensa or homemade? 
Mittagessen ist mitgebracht./I bring my own lunch.

Am Abend: Füße hoch auf der Couch oder eine Runde joggen?/In the evening: Feet up on the couch or a run?
Ich mag laufen und jeden Tag spazieren./I enjoy running and go for a walk every day.
